Bjarki graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in 2022 and a MS in Molecular & Cellular Biotechnology in 2023, where he studied hematopoietic stem cell differentiation using artificial intelligence as a part of Don Wojchowski’s lab. In summer of 2023 he joined the Engelman Lab, where his work focuses on protein expression, purification, and characterization of human host-factors involved with HIV-1 nuclear trafficking. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.
