Engelman Lab
Mechanisms and Inhibition of HIV Nuclear Trafficking and Viral DNA Integration

Erin Huynh
Research Operations Manager for the Human Retrovirology Group
Email: [email protected]

Erin supports faculty and laboratory staff needs within the Human Retrovirology Group (combined Engelman, Sodroski, and Gabuzda laboratories). Her responsibilities include the upkeep of space, including a BSL2+ bio-containment suite, equipment maintenance and organization, facility needs, upkeep of shared supplies and consumables, and acting as the freezer alarm contact for the Group. Outside of work, Erin enjoys planning and flying off to her solo trips around the world, from Mongolia to the Faroes to Brazil! When she can't go on these trips, she spends her days at home, entertained by handfuls of hobbies like working hard to expand the garden into mushroom cultivation or enjoying a thick book under a blanket with a cup of tea.
